On Saturday, January 19 from 9 - 12 p.m. volunteers are invited to participate in the Annual Air Potato Mega-Raid at Wirz Trail located on Winter Park Drive. Volunteers will work together to pick up Air Potatoes to prevent further destruction of the wetland ecosystem. For more information, please call 407-262-7700 ext. 1575
Last year, over 55 volunteers from Hands on Orlando and Friends of the Park showed up to the Wirz Trail for the annual air potato raid. Sporting green canvas bags volunteers young and old gathered over 1,400 pounds of potatoes.
