Effective Immediately, the City of Casselberry has expanded its residential recycling program to include all residential paper. In addition to the commingled containers such as plastics (#1-#7); brown, green and clear glass bottles and jars; and bimetal/steel (including aerosols) and aluminum cans; residents may now place any residential fiber material in their curbside recycling bin. The fiber materials include, newspapers (with inserts), corrugated cardboard (flattened and cut to fit in bin), junk mail, white paper, colored paper, magazines, box board, carrier stock, brown paper bags and phone books. Also, large quantities of corrugated cardboard, mattresses and box springs can be delivered by residents free of charge to the Seminole County Central Transfer Station located on CR 419 during normal business hours. These items will be recycled.
