Posted on: March 7, 2017[ARCHIVED] Precautionary Boil Water Notice - Please Read
Due to a recent water main break, the following streets have been issued a precautionary boil water notice until further notice: Lake of the Woods Blvd, S. Carolwood Blvd, Carolwood Blvd, Nettlewood Ln, Truewood Ln, Sherrywood St, Woodbine St, Pickwood Ave, Fair Oaks Pl, Pylewood St, Wintergreen Blvd, and Winterberry Ln.
Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used.
This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a Bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. A rescission notice will be distributed once this notice is lifted. For more information, please contact the Public Works Administrative office at (407) 262-7725. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
