[ARCHIVED] Street Light Assessment Approved

As the City of Casselberry begins to prepare the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, it is examining the concept of implementing a street lighting assessment as a way to fund the costs of street lighting services for residential and commercial properties within the City of Casselberry. At its September 14, 2009 meeting, the City Commission approved the assessment which now results in a fee of $37.60/yr (or approx. $3.13/mo.) for residential customers and $36.50/Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU)/yr (or approx. $3.04/ERU/mo.) for commercial customers. The street light assessment is necessary to cover the costs associated with the maintenance and operation of the street lights within the City.
