As the City of Casselberry begins to prepare the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, it is examining the concept of implementing a street lighting assessment as a way to fund the costs of street lighting services for residential and commercial properties within the City of Casselberry. If approved, the assessment could result in a fee of $37.60/yr ($3.13/mo.) for residential customers and $36.50/Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU)/yr($3.04/ERU/mo.) for commercial customers. The street light assessment is necessary to cover the costs associated with the maintenance and operation of the street lights within the City.
