[ARCHIVED] Quail Pond Circle Water Main Replacement Project

In order to improve water services for residents on Quail Pond Circle, the City is undergoing a project to have specific water mains replaced. Preparation for this work has already begun. However, the actual replacement of the water main will begin on Tuesday June 30, 2009.This work is expected to continue until Friday July 03, 2009. All work will be performed during the hours of 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM. Affected residences will experience a temporary water service outage. Service will be restored at or before 4:00 pm. Once service is restored, a PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE will be issued.

After a notice is given, the City advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. the notice will then be in effect until positive bacteriological samples are received that renders the water safe to drink. A rescision notice will be distributed once the notice is lifted.
