To celebrate Parks and Recreation Month this July, everyone is invited to a morning full of family fun including paddleboard and kayak trials, climbing wall, tennis and soccer clinics, nature arts and crafts, lawn games, scavenger hunts, yoga, Zumba, face painting, prizes, giveaways and free hotdogs on Saturday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Stand Up Paddleboards and solo kayaks are available to try for those ages 13 and up. Children 6-12 years old can ride along with an adult aged 18 or over in a tandem kayak (limit one adult and one child per ride). Children under 6 are not permitted on any of the City's paddle vessels.
