The City of Casselberry has issued a Precautionary Boil Water notice to residents in Legacy Park (North side of Seminola Blvd.) and The Geneva School due to an 8" water main damaged during construction at the Legacy Place Townhome Development. Door hangers have been distributed to all those affected. The Reserve at Legacy Park and the Greenville subdivision are NOT affected. The water main has since been repaired and the lines have been flushed. Bacteriological samples are currently being taken for testing.
Please boil tap water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes for one minute (rolling boil). Bottled water may be used as an alternative. This boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a Bacteriological survey renders the water safe to drink. A rescission notice will be issued once the notice has been lifted.
