The City, in partnership with Waste Pro, will be hosting “curbside clean-up” events on Saturday, September 16, 2023 (for residents who receive normal garbage service on Mondays/Thursdays) and on Saturday, September 23, 2023 (for residents who receive normal garbage service on Tuesdays/Fridays). Regular household garbage will not be collected during this event. Accepted items are as follows:  Steel, Lumber, Wallboard, Glass (taped), Large Tree Stumps, Yard waste (up to 6 yds.), Roofing Material, Pipe, and Small Home Improvements. Items not accepted are: Regular household garbage, appliances, tires, paint, concrete, brick, and Household Hazardous Waste. Residents are encouraged to dispose of regular garbage on their regularly scheduled collection days during the week. Household Hazardous Waste and nonconforming waste can be taken to the Central Transfer Station or the County Landfill.  For more information, please contact the Public Works Department at (407) 262-7725, Ext. 1225. Please place items curbside prior to 7am on day of event. Haulers will not go back to collect items put out late.
