Friday, October 8, 2021

The award- winning Scooter Brown Band will headline the third annual October Country Jam Concert on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Lake Concord Park. In 2020, Scooter Brown Band was awarded the Fan Army Award at the Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards presented by iHeartRadio and brought in the most votes in the history of the fan-voted accolade. Scooter Brown is also a combat veteran and U.S. Marine. Brown and his band dedicate significant time doing work for veterans’ organizations and performing for the troops. Now, Scooter Brown Band will be in Casselberry to rock Lake Concord Park at the October Country Jam, Casselberry Food Trucks event. The event is co-sponsored by country radio station 103.1 The Wolf.

Hosts from The Wolf will on site broadcasting live from the event. Local favorite Bailey Callahan - who is now making it big on the scene in Nashville, will open the show. In addition to great live music, there will be food trucks and product vendors on site. General parking is available at surrounding lots, disabled parking is next to the Casselberry Art House and at the front of the Casselberry Police Station Contact (407) 262-7700, Ext. 1507.

“ILLuminART”
While attending October Country Jam, take a stroll through Lake Concord Park to view the glowing sculptures for the annual, “iLLuminART” event. The sculpture walk will be dramatically lit for a special art experience. The newest editions to the sculpture walk, the colorful “Totems” by Dorthy Gillespie, and the stalagmite-esque "Willow Installation” by Barbara Sorensen are sure to capture your eye. There will also be a new installation by local favorite artist Marla E, along with glowing sculptures on display by members of the Florida Sculptures Guild at the Sculpture House.
