The Casselberry Citizen Academy is a free program for residents that are interested in learning how the City functions and the roles of each department. The program consists of a series of six interactive sessions that are designed to help participants develop a deeper understanding of City government and the services that Casselberry provides to the community.
Session 1: Policy and Leadership - March 24, 2020
Session 2: Community Improvement - March 31, 2020
Session 3: Building the City's Future - April 7, 2020
Session 4: Water Resources - April 14, 2020
Session 5: Parks and Conservation - April 21, 2020
Session 6: Health, Safety, and Welfare - April 28, 2020
Graduation Ceremony - May 11, 2020
Participants must be:
A Casselberry resident
18 years of age or older
Not currently serving on a City Commission, Board, or Committee
Only one participant from each household
Able to attend at least five of the sessions
The Citizen Academy will be limited to 15 participants and enrollment will be determined on a first come, first served basis. All sessions will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall located at 95 Triplet Lake Drive. The enrollment form is available in the Form Center.
