Experience Contemporary Exhibit

The Experience Contemporary Exhibit takes place annually in the spring at Casselberry City Hall, featuring paintings and sculptures, from stylized to impressionistic to symbolic to modern abstract, that define the times and encourage reflection on contemporary society and the issues relevant to the modern world.  Through a dynamic combination of materials, methods, concepts, and subjects that challenge traditional boundaries and defy easy definition, art in this exhibit will personify the contemporary ethos and give voice to the varied and changing cultural landscape of identities, values, and beliefs.

Sponsored by the City of Casselberry and Rotary Club of Casselberry, anything goes at the annual Recycled Art Exhibit, which takes place every April and culminates in a special reception and awards ceremony during Earth Fest.  Artists are welcome to submit everything from two- and three-dimensional works, including paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, pottery, collage, metalwork and stonework.  At least 50% of each piece of artwork must be recycled (discarded/found) materials man-made or organic, including but not limited to: wood, metal or stone, glass, paper, fabric, pottery and plastic.
