Experience Contemporary Exhibition

The Experience Contemporary Exhibit takes place annually in the spring at Casselberry City Hall, featuring paintings and sculptures, from stylized to impressionistic to symbolic to modern abstract, that define the times and encourage reflection on contemporary society and the issues relevant to the modern world.  Through a dynamic combination of materials, methods, concepts, and subjects that challenge traditional boundaries and defy easy definition, art in this exhibit will personify the contemporary ethos and give voice to the varied and changing cultural landscape of identities, values, and beliefs.

Sponsored by the City of Casselberry and Rotary Club of Casselberry, the Recycled Art Exhibition is comprised entirely of work made from recycled or repurposed materials. The exhibit takes place every April and culminates in a special reception and awards ceremony during Earth Fest. Artists are welcome to submit two- and three-dimensional works, including paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, pottery, collage, metalwork and stonework.  At least 50% of each piece of artwork must be recycled (discarded/found) materials man-made or organic, including but not limited to: wood, metal or stone, glass, paper, fabric, pottery and plastic.

Latin Art Exhibition

This Casselberry City Hall exhibit is coordinated annually in conjunction with the City’s annual Latin Jazz & Art Fest, taking place during Hispanic Heritage Month. The Latin Art Exhibit opens with a reception to be held in Casselberry City Hall on the same day as the concert and festival. This exhibit seeks artists of Latin heritage with artwork that is rich with artistic merit and reflects the culture of Central and South America.

iLLuminArt

The City of Casselberry annually hosts iLLuminART – Spotlight on Sculpture, at Lake Concord Park, featuring temporary light installations from artists all over Central Florida and beyond. This special one-night only exhibit showcases the powerful artistic marriage of light and form in the City’s beautiful lakefront park setting. Light sculptures, light box art, digital projects, LED art, and other illuminated art forms are welcome, with special awards presented by Casselberry Friends of the Park.

Interested artists are asked to Email the Casselberry Art House or call (407) 262-7700 Ext. 1122.
