The City of Casselberry is proud to be a Tree City USA since 2007 and each year, the city celebrates Arbor Day. Arbor Day, a national observance that since 1872, continues to encourage tree planting and care. 

As part of the Arbor Day Celebration for 2021, the City is hosting a free tree give-away (limit-one per City of Casselberry residential address) at Secret Lake Park. 

To register to receive a free tree (limit one tree per City of Casselberry residential address), go to the city catalog located here: and sign in or create a user account. Once a user account has been created and you have signed in, navigate to the “Special Events” tab and click on the “Arbor Day Tree Giveaway” activity. Select your desired tree species and one of the two half-hour time slots for that species’ pick up. Once you’ve decided on your tree and time slot, Select an Account Member to receive the tree and click on “Add To Cart”. From there you can go through the checkout process to reserve your free tree. Once you’ve finished you’ll receive a ticketed receipt, please bring your ticketed receipt with you during your selected half-hour time slot on Saturday, May 1st to the parking lot of the Casselberry Recreation Center at Secret Lake Park to pick up your new tree.
