City of Casselberry’s annual 8-week summer camp will resume with modifications starting June 7 and running through July 30!
Camp will be held at the Casselberry Recreation Center from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Children 8-12 years old will enjoy action-packed fun and excitement including:
- Arts and crafts
- Kayaking and canoeing
- Talent Show
Students will also learn about things like the environment, music and the arts, how to play chess, and create interesting science projects.
City of Casselberry's Summer Camp counselors are background screened, undergo a mandatory training program and are certified in CPR and First Aid.
This camp provides safe, respectful, age-appropriate, supervised activities for only $95 per week (Casselberry resident) and $120 per week (non-resident). The Seminole County BreakSpot Program will provide campers with delicious and nutritious breakfasts and lunches all summer.
COVID-19 Safety: Measures include daily symptom and temperature checks of students and staff. Those with a temperature of 100.4 or more will be sent home. All staff and campers will wear face coverings and will stay socially distant from one another. Hand washing and use of hand sanitizer will be strongly encouraged. Campers who are feeling ill or have symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home. If exhibiting symptoms, they will be isolated from the group until a parent can take them home. For the safety of the campers, parents are prohibited from entering dedicated indoor camp areas. No more than two campers may use the restroom at the same time. All areas will be disinfected after each activity and at the end of the day.
