With sport classes and leagues, Casselberry Recreation has programs to help all kids stay active!

Sports offer a great outlet for children. The Casselberry Recreation Center hosts many physically active programs for youth including multiple styles of dance, yoga, and martial arts. For more information on available sports and recreation programs, call the Recreation Center at (407) 262-7700, Ext. 1575 or 1576.

For soccer, the City and the Greater Orlando Soccer Academy have teamed to provide an excellent youth soccer program for ages 4-11. Practices will take place on Mondays and games on Fridays at Secret Lake Park. Spring season begins in March. Visit https://www.gosasoccer.com.app.crossbar.org/ for registration.

Wirz Park Pool Season 2023 Is Open

Wirz Park swimming pool opened for the season on Memorial Day, May 29, 2023. The pool will be open daily for public swim from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. Daily swim passes are available for $2.00 for Casselberry residents, and $3.00 for non-residents. Seasonal swim passes can be purchased for individuals and families. Individual season passes are $50.00 for Casselberry residents, and $70.00 for non-residents. Family passes (up to 6 at a time) can be purchased for $70.00 for Casselberry residents, and $90.00 for non-residents.   Daily and seasonal passes can be purchased at the Wirz Park pool office as well as online at the Casselberry Recreation catalog. Wirz Park pool will be closing this season on Sunday, August 13 at 4:00 p.m.

Swim Lessons available at Wirz Park Pool

American Red Cross Swim Lessons are available at Wirz Park Pool in June and July for Ages 3 and Up. Sessions include 3 – 30 minute lessons for $35.00. 8AM and 9AM Sessions on Monday, Wednesday, Friday with American Red Cross Certified Instructors. Plans for the future


Wirz Park will receive major park improvements as part of the City of Casselberry’s GO PARKS referendum. The proposed Wirz Park Improvements include:

  •  New pool that features zero entry, splash elements and lap pool.  Pool will be heated for year-round swim sessions
  • New playground
  • New basketball court
  • New pavilion
  • Renovations and expansion of Wirz Park building and bathhouse
  • Parking lot and landscape improvements
  • New multipurpose field
  • New outdoor exercise equipment
  • New volleyball court
  • New sidewalks and trail connector
