Casselberry Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project

On February 13, 2017, the City of Casselberry Commission approved a contract with Altair Environmental Group of Longwood for the City-wide renovation of deteriorating storm drainage infrastructure. The contract includes over 7,000 linear feet of underdrain stormwater pipe, 1,300 linear feet of lining existing storm pipes, substantial grouting of existing drainage structures, driveway apron replacements, new storm drainage infrastructure and selective roadway reconstruction. This project will greatly increase the efficiency and longevity of the City’s stormwater conveyance infrastructure while dramatically reducing short and long-term maintenance costs. Intermittent lane closures should be expected throughout the City until mid-September. Residents will be notified via door hangers in advance of construction activity on their individual streets. Selective tree relocations may be made available upon request to Brad Muckel, Construction and Permitting Manager, 407-262-7725 x1237.

Questions or concerns during construction should be directed to Brad Muckel, Construction and Permitting Manager, 407-262-7725 x1237.
